Secretariat Paris MoU on PSC
The secretariat of the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control is responsible for the effective implementation and execution of the Paris Memorandum of Understanding.
The secretariat organizes international meetings, training programmes for Port State Control Officers and participates in various task forces within the Paris MoU.
Furthermore, the secretariat is responsible for the information exchange and serves as the primary contact for member States and external contacts.
The secretariat is based in the Hague, the Netherlands and is managed by the member States and the MoU Advisory Board. The secretariat has its own budget, which is annually approved by the Port State Control Committee.

The Paris MoU Secretariat has achieved its ISO9001:2008 certification in March 2011 and prolonged this certification in March 2012 for assisting in improvement of its services and products for the MoU members.
