New calculators on the Paris MoU website

The Thetis information system manager has replaced the dynamic Ship Risk Calculator for two static calculators, the Ship Risk Calculator and the Company Performance Calculator.

The former dynamic Ship Risk Calculator generated a disproportionate amount of requests for clarification on the results of the calculator. The information system manager subsequently decided to replace the calculator.

The previous Ship Risk Calculator – Dynamic Calculator was connected to the central database and was able to provide the result of the performance following the selection of a specific Company, Flag or RO.

The new Calculators – Static Calculators - are disconnected from the central database and do not allow to select a specific Company, Flag or RO. The Static Calculators will provide the same result but will require the user to consult and compile information themselves.
