New targeting lists Paris MoU on Port State Control 13 June 2013 At its 46th meeting last month, the Paris MoU Committee approved the 2012 inspection results and adopted new performance lists for flags and Recognized Organizations. These lists will take effect from 1 July 2013.

Paris MoU launches Harmonised Verification Programme (HAVEP) on passenger ships 26 November 2012 The 27 member States of the Paris MoU will focus their attention on passenger ship safety in 2013. In May 2012 the Paris MoU Port State Control Committee agreed to organise a Harmonized Verification Programme (HAVEP) on operational controls on passenger ships. The HAVEP will last for twelve months, commencing on 1 January 2013 and ending on 31 December
2013.
